How do you surprise your client at the soonest possible moment with a sneak peek into your shoot? You send them a photo or two! It's simple, it's quick and it's a great way to get your clients excited and anxious to see more. It's also a great way to hold them over a bit during the editing process. For video, however, this isn't always so quick and easy. Introducing Quick Looks! A 15-second, Instagram-ready highlight of your wedding video. I generally know what my favorite shots of the day are so whipping up a quick edit the day after is proving to be a lot easier with the more films I do. They're also crazy popular on Instagram! Here are my latest three Quick Looks from weddings from the past two weeks. They'll be included in all of my cinematography packages from here on out. Enjoy!

I've had a lot of clients asking the benefits of having a videographer with them on their big day. I'm planning on releasing a little FAQ soon but thought I'd say my input here first: You will love your photos. You will share them on Facebook, send them to relatives, print them and gift them to grandma and create large canvases for your home. Your children will admire them and pass them onto their children. There's not a doubt that photographs will be the most memorable keepsake from your wedding day. However, photos can only capture so many moments. Photos can bring you back to that special day, but a video can tell the entire story. Chances are, you'll forget exactly why your sister's speech was so meaningful. You'll remember from the photographs but to hear her words again and again and see the tears on your own face - that's special. During your first dance, you might miss those quick glances, that gleam from your new husband as he twirls you around the dance floor. Imagine being able to re-watch that memory and have it set to that very same song. It's an entirely different sensory experience than looking at a photograph. It's that moment all over again. I get asked all the time what I enjoy doing more: photo or video. I've been doing both for as long as I remember. To me, they go hand in hand and I love them both for many reasons. I encourage you to watch some of these films and imagine having your own wedding day captured on video. Imagine cracking open the same bottle of wine you shared that night, sitting down on your couch and having all of those memories come alive on the screen. That's the magic of cinema. With that being said, here are two full length films that go hand in hand with the previews I have on my website. With each collection, my clients will receive a 15-second Instagram preview (shareable on any social network), a 2-3 minute sneak peek and a longer 10-20 minute film. The packages are priced based on hours of coverage, one or two cinematographers and audio preferences. You'll see in Blaire & Jonno's video that they chose a package with audio - they read letters to each other and their reception toasts have been integrated as well. What you won't see is the special features on their USB that included a second camera that captured their entire ceremony as well as all of the toasts - 45 minutes of toasts, you guys! Enjoy!
